Ludovica Bulciolu

is an independent curator, researcher, writer and producer interested in how oral transmission and repeated gestures are shared and unfold in the cultures and habits of a place; how collective strategy and work can unbuild the orders inherited and perpetuated by hegemonic systems; how to rethink institutional structures and its doings 

Ludovica is currently working as Senior Account and Project Manager for Buildhollywood across London and Paris, alongside carrying independent curatorial projects and investigations as co-founder of the collectives Kontramaré and Congregations 

's curatorial practice includes exhibitions, public programs and projects with San Mei Gallery (London) where was associate curator for two years, La Casa Encendida (Madrid), Gasworks (London), Royal College of Art (London), Fondazione Sandretto Re Rebaudengo (Torino, Madrid), Harlesden High Street (London), Familia Editions (Rio de Janeiro, Madrid), Galeria Juan Silió (Santander, Madrid), Galleria Continua (Beijing), SAM Art Projects (Paris) where in charge of the production of two projects for the 2019 Lyon Biennial

holds an MA in Curating Contemporary Art from the Royal College of Art (London); an MA in Art History and Archeology of East Asian Art from Sorbonne University (Paris); a BA in Art History and Archeology from the Montaigne University (Bordeaux) and the NOVA University (Lisbon)

has written essays for various exhibition catalogues and publications, and has been working as cultural mediator for various institutions such as London National Gallery, British Museum, Musée d’Orsay, Palais de Tokyo, Fundaçao Gulbenkian

in 2022 was awarded the Young Curator Residency Programme Madrid (YCRPM) of the Fondazione Sandretto Re Rebaudengo
